GAO: Delivery dates pushed back for F-15EX

Production-related problems have pushed delivery dates of the Boeing-made F-15EX Eagle II, which could lead to further milestone delays for the Air Force program, according to a Government Accountability Officereport released Thursday. The first Lot 1B aircraft were scheduled for delivery in December, but prime contractor Boeing delayed those deliveries by six months because of several production issues, including supplier quality problems, according to GAO's Weapon Systems Annual Assessment .
