GAO Denies Protest of Army's Interim Armored Vehicle Award

The General Accounting Office has denied United Defense LP's protest of a $4 billion Interim Armored Vehicle contract awarded by the Army late last year, GAO said today. A team led by General Motors and General Dynamics Land Systems won the award for a fleet of off-the-shelf armored vehicles that will outfit the Army's Brigade Combat Teams.
