GAO: OCX remains at high risk of more schedule, cost overruns that could impact GPS enterprise

The troubled next-generation GPS ground segment development program is at high risk for delivering future capability on time and on budget, the Government Accountability Office reports, noting its continued problems could impact other GPS modernization efforts. OCX prime contractor Raytheon delivered the baseline GPS OCX Block 0 capability in September, and the service validated it Nov. 1.
