GAO: Unknown MRAP Costs Likely to Pose Challenges for Pentagon, Army

The undetermined operation and sustainment costs of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles are likely to pose budgetary challenges for the Army, which will have to account for MRAPs as it works to fund key programs like Future Combat Systems and the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, according to a new Government Accountability Office report.
