GD Mulls Withdrawing DD(X) Protest

General Dynamics came close to withdrawing its protest over the contract award for the Navy's multibillion-dollar DD(X) ship development program today, but discussions have not yet produced a final agreement, sources tell Inside the Navy . An end to the protest would allow the high-profile program to continue with a team led by Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.
