GD's Littoral Warship Faces Cost Issues

The littoral warship being built for the Navy by General Dynamics will face a cost overrun similar to that of a competing vessel made by Lockheed Martin, Navy acquisition executive Delores Etter said today. The Littoral Combat Ship program involves two designs being developed separately by GD and Lockheed Martin.
