Germany Approves MEADS Agreement

Germany has officially signed on to the design and development of the Medium Extended Air Defense System. Germany's parliament voted today to approve the country's continued participation in the program after several months' delay, according to program sources and media reports. The United States and Italy are partnered with Germany in the nine-year design and development phase.
