Gordon Unveils Proposed NNSA Reorganization

The National Nuclear Security Administration today announced a proposed headquarters reorganization plan designed to consolidate the oversight and assessment of security, safety and environmental issues at the agency. NNSA is a semi-autonomous Energy Department agency that manages the nation's nuclear complex. The NNSA director, Air Force Gen. John Gordon, expects to have the reorganization fully in place by Oct. 1, the agency said in a statement.
