Guard commander outlines combat training center development in Ukraine

The United States is working with local forces to develop a combat training center in Ukraine, according to Col. Nick Ducich, commander of the 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, who returned from a recent deployment. Ducich, speaking to reporters at the Pentagon during a June 7 roundtable, said members of multiple units were in Yavoriv, Ukraine as part of the Joint Multinational Training Group.
