Hale: DOD May Submit New Reprogramming Request

Absent full congressional approval for the Defense Department's $9.6 billion reprogramming package, delivered to lawmakers in May, the Pentagon will prepare and submit to lawmakers another reprogramming request, DOD Comptroller Robert Hale said today. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and Hale were asked today during a House Budget Committee hearing whether DOD is likely to submit additional reprogramming requests.
