Hale: Halted Budget Planning May Resume As Furloughs Wane

The government shutdown has halted the Defense Department's planning for further sequestration and the fiscal year 2015 budget, Pentagon Comptroller Robert Hale said on Saturday, but that may change as DOD this week begins recalling about 90 percent of the 350,000 furloughed defense officials by implementing the Pay Our Military Act.
