Shipbuilder HII will focus on developing outsource partners for labor and production in the next year rather than acquiring more shipyards. With plans to increase outsourcing by 30% in 2025, CEO Chris Kastner said this ramp up, along with other workforce strategies, should increase shipbuilding production throughput by 20% year over year.
