House appropriators direct Navy to purchase four additional V-22s

The House Appropriations Committee is recommending the Navy procure four additional V-22 Ospreys in fiscal year 2020. In the report accompanying the panel's draft of the FY-20 spending bill, the committee increased funding for the Navy's V-22 program by $248 million, bringing the total funding to $1.2 billion so the service can purchase 14 aircraft.
