House Bill Calls for Reassessment of Afghanistan Command Structure

House Armed Services Committee members have included language in their version of the fiscal year 2009 defense authorization bill that would require the Pentagon to reassess the command structure governing U.S. and NATO operations in Afghanistan. Panel members unanimously approved the bill today. It is slated to reach the House floor next week.
