House panel would increase cuts to JLTV, AMPV

The House Appropriations defense subcommittee is recommending further budget cuts to the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle and Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle in its draft of the fiscal year 2022 appropriations bill. This comes after the Army already proposed slashing budgets for both programs by hundreds of millions of dollars below previously expected levels in its budget request.
