Ingalls Awarded $105 Million Contract for Cole Repairs

The Navy today awarded Ingalls Shipbuilding a $105.5 million contract for the "repair and restoration" of the Cole destroyer, which was damaged by a bomb blast last year. The deal, awarded by the Naval Sea Systems Command, will cover work through February 2002, according to a Defense Department announcement.
