Iron Fist APS approved for initial production

The Army Requirements Oversight Council has decided to move forward with fielding Iron Fist, a non-developmental active protection system, on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, according to the service. Israel-based IMI Systems, partnered with General Dynamics Land Systems, struggled to start testing Iron Fist due to integration issues, setting the Army's schedule back at least eight months.
