Israel Wants 700 Joint Direct Attack Munitions

Israel has asked to buy 700 Joint Direct Attack Munition tail kits and associated equipment in a deal potentially worth $45 million. According to a Defense Department statement, the deal would cover the JDAMs, MK-84 bombs, testing, spare and repair parts, support equipment, contractor engineering and technical support, and other related program support elements. The Boeing Co. of St. Louis, MO, is the prime contractor. "There are no offset agreements proposed in connection with this potential sale," the DOD statement reads.
