ITT Wins $121 Million Award for Middle East Communications Support

The Defense Department has awarded ITT a $121 million contract for the operation, maintenance and repair of communications facilities in the Middle East. According to a Pentagon announcement, the contract, awarded March 23, covers support for a variety of Internet, e-mail and communications services at facilities in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. It is scheduled to last through May 31, 2005. ITT Industries' Systems Division of Colorado Springs, CO, won the deal, for which $12.8 million has been obligated...
