James: Despite Milestone A Delay, JSTARS Recapitalization To Stay on Track

A snag in the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System recapitalization effort will not cause a long-term delay in the program, according to Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James. The Defense Acquisition Board did not approve a milestone A review for the program during a Sept. 18 meeting, but is expected to revisit the issue sometime in October, James said during a Sept. 29 event on the future of the Air Force.
