Japanese Ambassador Flies Unannounced In V-22 Osprey

Japan's ambassador to the United States, Kenichiro Sasae, took an unannounced flight on a V-22 Osprey at the Pentagon today, InsideDefense.com has confirmed. The tiltrotor aircraft was spotted on the ground at the Pentagon's helipad with its twin nacelles pointed skyward and its rotors spinning shortly before 10 a.m. V-22 sightings at the Pentagon are rare and typically signal VIP flights.
