KC-46 Pegasus Achieves First Flight

The Air Force and Boeing completed the first flight of the KC-46 program this week, pushing the program forward into a rigorous testing phase. The 767-2c aircraft, a freighter-style variant of prime contractor Boeing's 767-200 passenger aircraft, took off from Paine Field, WA, on Dec. 28 and flew for more than three hours, according to a Boeing statement issued that day.
