Lawmakers to Announce Formation of Congressional Defense Energy Working Group

House lawmakers have formed a bipartisan Defense Energy Working Group, which will study and recommend policy solutions to reduce the Pentagon's fuel usage. Reps. Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD) and Steve Israel (D-NY) will officially announce the formation of the group and its guidelines for its scope and mission at a July 20 news conference on Capitol Hill.
