Lawmakers direct humvee ambulance recap for active Army

Lawmakers have proposed $50 million to recapitalize ambulance variants of active-Army humvees, pushing the service to consider expanding the program in future years. Language to that effect is included in the House Armed Services Committee's draft of the fiscal year 2017 defense authorization bill.
