Lawmakers impose specifications on LTAMDS

The House Armed Services Committee last week adopted an amendment to the fiscal year 2019 defense authorization bill imposing performance specifications on the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor. The Army is pursuing the sensor as a potential upgrade or replacement of its Patriot radar. The amendment, introduced by Rep.
