Lawmakers Punt On Abrams Engine Fuel Efficiency Requirements

The House passed a fiscal year 2014 defense authorization bill last week that did not require the Army and Marine Corps to submit a report to Congress on the investment strategy to accelerate the fuel efficiency of the Abrams tank, but lawmakers did direct the military to begin exploring the matter.
