Lawmakers Seek Annual Updates On Iran's Nuclear Intentions

Congress wants the White House's intelligence directorate to provide annual updates of the 2007 National Intelligence Estimate on Iran's nuclear intentions and capabilities, beginning early next year. The annual reports, which may be classified, are called for in the fiscal year 2009 defense authorization bill approved this week by the House and Senate Armed Services committees.
