Lawmakers Urge Gates to 'Carefully Review' Army Vehicle, FCS Plans

High-ranking members of the House Armed Services Committee are urging Defense Secretary Robert Gates to examine the ramifications of a proposal to significantly reduce funding for Abrams tanks, Bradley fighting vehicles and Stryker vehicles in order to boost the budget of the Future Combat Systems starting in fiscal year 2010.
