In Legislative Proposals, DOD Wants Legal Foundation for NATO C-17 Fleet

The Pentagon is seeking legal authority from Congress to participate in a multinational effort to purchase up to four C-17 cargo aircraft for a small European-based strategic airlift fleet. This request is one of a handful of new legislative proposals the Defense Department sent to lawmakers on March 28.
