Littoral Combat Ship undergoing repairs in Pacific after engine casualty

The Navy's only forward-deployed Littoral Combat Ship in the Pacific is undergoing repairs in Singapore following a casualty to its combining gears early last month. The Fort Worth (LCS-3) is the second Freedom-class LCS to break down in recent months due to issues with its combining gears.
