Lockheed exploring ways to leverage Space Fence software for LRDR

MOORESTOWN, NJ -- Lockheed Martin is exploring opportunities to leverage software developed for the Air Force's Space Fence radar into its work on the Long-Range Discrimination Radar the company is building for the Missile Defense Agency. Chandra Marshall, Lockheed's LRDR program manager, told reporters during a Dec. 7 visit to the company's radar production facility here that the company is investing internal funds to explore whether it can use Space Fence mission processing software to offer additional space situational awareness...
