Lockheed Martin Gets $40 Million F-22 Contract

The Air Force today awarded Lockheed Martin a $40 million contract to cover one month's worth of advanced procurement in support of low-rate initial production of the F-22 aircraft. The contract is designed to allow work to continue until the Defense Acquisition Board reviews the program's readiness for full-rate production.
