Lockheed Martin Naval JSF Demonstrator Goes Supersonic

The naval version of Lockheed Martin's Joint Strike Fighter concept demonstrator went supersonic for the first time this week, the company announced yesterday. During separate flights, Lockheed's X-35 carrier version aircraft reached speeds of Mach 1.05 and Mach 1.1, according to a company statement.
