Lockheed Martin, Patria End Next-Gen Amphib Vehicle Partnership

Lockheed Martin and Finnish vehicle manufacturer Patria mutually agreed to end their partnership for the Marine Corps' next-generation amphibious vehicle competition, according to a Lockheed spokesman. Despite the dissolved partnership, company spokesman John Kent wrote in a July 8 statement to Inside the Navy that "Lockheed Martin is fully committed to the United States Marine Corps," adding that the company "looks forward to providing an Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) solution with significant growth margin for all future ACV variants."...
