Lockheed Martin to Provide 20 PSTAR Radars to Taiwanese Army

Lockheed Martin signed a contract today with the U.S. Army to provide 20 portable air defense radars for the Taiwanese Army, according to a company announcement. Lockheed Martin received the $18 million contract to provide the portable search and target acquisition radars (PSTAR) through the U.S. government's foreign military sales program. PSTAR is the smallest radar offered by Lockheed Martin's Syracuse, NY-based naval electronics and surveillance systems sector. It is a two-man portable system that can fit in the back...
