Lockheed Martin Ventures invests in Australian innovation fund

Lockheed Martin today confirmed its venture capital arm has invested in Main Sequence Ventures, the VC firm managing the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization Innovation Fund. The investment marks the organization's first international fund investment. Main Sequence Ventures said it closed the fund at $232 million, which includes investments from CSIRO, the Australian government, Singapore government fund Temasek, the University of Melbourne and Lockheed.
