Lockheed Martin Wins $768 Million Miniature Kill Vehicle Contract

Lockheed Martin today won a Pentagon contract to build a miniature kill vehicle capable of destroying ballistic missiles in the midcourse phase of flight. The contract could be worth $768 million, according to a Defense Department statement.
