Lord certifies Air Force's Compass Call acquisition strategy

Pentagon acquisition chief Ellen Lord certified the Air Force's acquisition strategy for the Compass Call recapitalization program in a May 14 memo to Congress, a Defense Department spokesman confirmed Friday. Inside Defense reported last month the effort to move Compass Call electronic attack equipment to 10 Gulfstream G550s, designated the EC-37B, faced delays because Lord's certification was not done.
