Lynn Defends JSF, Notes DOD Will Address Probability of Cost Breach

Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn today stressed the importance of investing in the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program, noting the Pentagon is poised to address whether the aircraft's cost will breach a key congressional threshold. A successful JSF program is at the heart of continued U.S. air superiority, Lynn said at a defense conference.
