The Marine Corps may delay purchasing the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle if the funding "dries up" for the engineering manufacturing and development phase, according to a top official. The service, which is developing the vehicle with the Army, intends to procure 5,500 JLTVs, while upgrading about 8,000 humvees slated to last until 2030.
