Marine Corps to request $14 billion for modernization in FY-20 budget

The Marine Corps plans to ask Congress for $14 billion for modernization efforts in its fiscal year 2020 budget request, according to one of the service’s top officials. Lt. Gen. Brian Beaudreault told attendees at last week's annual Surface Navy Symposium that the $14 billion will comprise about 31 percent of the Marine Corps’ budget request.
