Marines Ground MV-22s, Other Aircraft

The Marine Corps has grounded three types of aircraft -- including the MV-22 Osprey -- for unrelated problems, the Defense Department announced today. Suspension orders were issued late last week (Aug. 25) for the CH-53E Super Stallion transport helicopter, the AH-1W Cobra attack helicopter and the MV-22 Osprey. The Marines Corps announced the suspensions yesterday.
