Marines Halt 'Smart Card' Distribution Until March 2002

The Marine Corps will suspend the distribution of its common access cards, which allow Marines to enter secure buildings, log onto computers and access medical records, for up to seven months while it attempts to resolve several technical problems, Marine Corps Commandant Gen.
