Marines Send Congress Unfunded Priorities List Worth $2.1B

The Marine Corps has sent Congress an unfunded priorities list for fiscal year 2016 totaling $2.1 billion, the bulk of which would go toward the purchase of six additional Lockheed Martin-manufactured F-35B Joint Strike Fighters, according to a document obtained by InsideDefense.com. The six F-35Bs would come at a cost of more than $1 billion, while other unfunded aviation procurement priorities include $180 million for two of Lockheed's KC-130J aircraft and $62 million for "MV-22 Digital Interoperability."
