Martin-Baker Ejection Seat Picked for Both Joint Strike Fighter Designs

Boeing announced yesterday that it has chosen a Martin-Baker ejection seat for its Joint Strike Fighter design, making the company a virtual lock to produce seats for the more than 3,000 JSFs expected to be sold worldwide. JSF competitor Lockheed Martin also picked a derivative of the Martin-Baker Mk16 seat for its JSF bid last week.
