MDA: Targets Program Not Meeting 'Cost and Schedule Expectations'

A program to develop a family of target missiles is running $83 million over cost for the first four long-range targets, the Missile Defense Agency told Congress in late January. "To date, the [Flexible Target Family] program has not met cost and schedule expectations," the agency said in a Jan. 30 report to the House Armed Services and Appropriations committees.
