To Monitor Bioweapons Ban, Industry Experts Suggest Trial Inspections

For decades, the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention -- an international treaty outlawing biological weapons -- has gone unchecked. But a report released this week proposes guidelines for trial inspections at U.S. plants that a group of biopharmaceutical industry experts believes could "resuscitate the bioweapons ban."
