NASA Review Panel Endorses Resumption of V-22 Flight Tests

A NASA-led review of the V-22 Osprey formally endorses resuming flight tests of the aircraft as soon as possible, according to a Nov. 6 report prepared for the Navy. The report is the culmination of the review of tiltrotor aeromechanics phenomena NASA began for the Navy in May. This V-22 review focused on Vortex Ring State characteristics and autorotation.
