National Space Defense Center transitioning to 24/7 ops this month

The Air Force's National Space Defense Center will transition to 24/7 operations this month, U.S. Strategic Command confirmed recently. The NSDC, located at Schriever Air Force Base, CO, was established in 2015 as an experimental hub for space operations. It has since been transitioning to limited operations and reached initial operational capability in November 2016. STRATCOM spokesman Capt.
