Navy Admits Plan to Truncate DDG-1000 Program as DOD Hedges

The Navy is publicly acknowledging its controversial decision to curtail the Zumwalt-class DDG-1000 destroyer program and resume building Arleigh Burke-class DDG-51 destroyers, nearly two weeks after Inside the Navy disclosed the plan.
